I speak more than just PHP – promise!

When I’m not elbows-deep in code or troubleshooting DNS records, I’m often at the beach or playing fetch at a park with my corgi.

I love photography, traveling (my favorite part is trying the local cuisine!), going to concerts, playing board games with friends, or getting lost in a good design book or nature documentary.

Or, if I’m in the mood for a chill day at home, I play piano, crochet, sew, read, write, dance around the house while I do chores, try cooking a new dish, or obsessively re-watch my favorite concerts on YouTube. Yes, I am one who simply cannot sit still – and I’ve only recently learned to embrace this, rather than fight it.

Why am I sharing all of this with you? (Trust me, it’s no easier for me than it is for anyone else) Because authenticity is one of my personal core values. Much like many others, I spent the majority of my life trying to hide who I truly was, to fit the mold, to do what I was “supposed” to do…and where did that lead me? Unhappy, unfulfilled, and feeling like I wasn’t living my life for myself. I was simply doing what I thought others expected of me. And the funniest part of it all was that I wasn’t impressing anyone or making anyone happy.

Moral of the story? I believe the best websites are built by real humans, not faceless agencies. And, to me, that means embracing every part of what makes me, me.

So whether I’m coding in glasses and a hoodie, soaking up that LA sunshine on the beach, or testing out the latest software out there, you’re getting the full, unfiltered version of me.

My only hope is that you are working on something you are truly passionate about, and that I can find a way to support you in your mission and cause.
